UNB, Dhaka :In a battle of two lowly teams, bottom ranked Team BJMC forced Chittagong Abahani to play 1-1 draw in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangbandhu National Stadium here on Tuesday. With the day’s outcome, Chittagong Abahani advanced to the 9th slot in the eleven-team league securing five points from eight matches while Team BJMC remained at bottom with two points from eight encounters.In the day’s match, Chittagong Abahani took the lead in the 23rd minute when a shot of their skipper Abdul Hannan Raju entered the net deflecting the foot of a BJMC defender (1-1).Mohammad Tara restored the parity for Team BJMC in the 57th minute by a header, off a curved free kick of their Nigerian forward Samsom Ilyasu (1-1).
