Teachers of three public universities here have returned to classes on Wednesday after 17-day work abstention.
Normalcy returned at Chittagong University (CU), Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) and Chittagong Veterinary Animal Science University (CVASU) from Wednesday.
Prof Kamrul Huda, Acting Registrar of CU said classes and examinations were held as usual in the university.
Classes were held in CUET but attendance was poor, said Prof Abdur Rahman Bhuiyan, President of CUET Teachers Association.
Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Director, Public Relation and Protocol confirmed that classes and examination were held at CVASU.
Ctg schools asked to refund extra fees: The Chittagong district administration has ordered all private schools to refund all additional fees, taken earlier for admission from the students, within 10 days.
