Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Professor Dr Farzana Islam said university teachers need to be imparted training to help ensure interactive learning process between teachers and students.
“The manner of teachers could make the students more attentive in the classes which would ensure participatory and quality education in the higher education system,” Prof. Farzana said recently at a function titled “Workshop on Self-Assessment Improvement Plan” on the campus.
JU Physics department organized the event in association with Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at its gallery with Chairman of the department Professor Dr Abdul Mannan Chowdhury in the chair.
Treasurer of the university Professor Dr Abul Khair and Director of JU IQAC Professor Dr Ajit Kumar Mazumder addressed the function as special guests, among others.
Conducted by Professor Dr Shafiqul Islam, teachers of the department took part in the workshop.
