A mobile court headed by Md. Obaidur Rahman, Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate of Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district convicted a lecturer and sentenced him to suffer simple imprisonment for 15 days on the charge of helping an examinee to adopt unfair means in Alim Examination, 2017 at Amtali Latifia Fazil Madrasa examination centre under the Upazila and expelled the examinee from the examination hall on Monday noon.
The convicted teacher is Md. Borhan Uddin, lecturer in Arabic of Amtali Latifia Fazil Madrsa and the expelled student is Md. Yasin Shaikh, is a student of Selimgar Chingrakhali Alim Madrasa. It is reported that while the Nirbahi Officer was visiting the examination centre on the day held the mobile court and convicted the accused lecturer and examinee.
