After successful arrangements of last three years an art camp is being organised at Bipasha Hayat-Tawquir Ahmed’s resort Nakshotro Bari in Gazipur.
The three-day camp, which began from April 12, will conclude on Pahela Boishakh, April 14.
Under the coordination by noted painter Biren Shome, country’s renowned painters like Rezaul Karim, Nasrin Begum, Rezaun Nabi, Bipasha Hayat, Afroza Jamil Konka, Kabir Ahmed Masum Chisty, Sohana Sahrin, Abdullah Al Bashir, Sohag Parvez, Sadeq Ahmed, Sultan Ishtiaq and Mahmudul Haque are taking part in the camp now.
Later an exhibition will be held at the resort’s ‘Sunflower Gallery’ where paintings of the participant artists will take place on display.
Artists Mahmudul Haque and Kanakchapa Chakma inaugurated the camp.
While talking about the arrangement of the art camp Tawquir told this correspondent, “Every year we arrange the camp during winter season. Due to political turmoil we couldn’t arrange it this winter. For this reason, we have organized the camp on the occasion of Pahela Boishakh.”
From next month Tawquir is going to start to make his directed fourth movie Oggatnama. Its story, script and dialogue were also written by himself.
Now he is selecting performers for the movie. He has already visited locations for the movie, Tawquir said.
