Tauquir making three plays, telefilms for Eid

Besides acting in several numbers of works, noted actor and director Tauquir Ahmed is making two telefilms and a play on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha. He has already finished shooting of two telefilms – ‘Megher Aaraley Megh’ and ‘Protipokkho.’ On August 19 and 20, he will finish shooting of the play titled ‘Dampotto.’
To be aired on Ntv in ‘Megher Aaraley Megh,’ Shampa Reza, Tauquir himself, Tareen and Rawnak Hasan acted while to be aired on Channel i in another telefilm ‘Protipokkho,’ Tauquir, Moushumi Nag, Rajib Salehin and Bhabna acted. Saberi Alam, Maria Nur and Siam will work in the play ‘Dampotto.’
Meanwhile, Tauquir has already finished shooting of his new movie ‘Halda’ recently. After Eid, he will submit it for getting censor certificate.
While talking about his Eid works Tauquir told this correspondent, “It is really difficult to get a good script from someone now. For this reason, giving time I have written scripts of these three telefilms and play. I have tried to do something by own way. I hope viewers will enjoy these in Eid. On the other hand, I have made film ‘Halda’ to keep in mind a section of people of our country. I have tried to portray their lifestyles and daily life activities in my movie. Therefore Bangladesh is a river-oriented country. I believe mass people will enjoy the film on the screen.”
It is mentioned that Tauquir Ahmed last made film ‘Oggatonama.’ He has already received award for this film. Besides his directed works, Tauquir will be seen in five plays and telefilms in Eid-ul-Azha.
