Tasmin Mahmud has been elected Director of the Board of Jamuna Bank Limited. She is an eminent personality and well-known entrepreneur in telecommunication, real estate, RMG & textile sector of the country.
Mahmud was born in a respectable Muslim Zaminder family of Shibchar, Madaripur. She did her MSS in Public Administration from Dhaka University.
Tasmin is widely recognized for her role in shaping the business in multiple sectors for which she was invited to travel Japan as a trade delegation led by Ministry of Commerce .
She visits South Korea as an FBCCI member.
She is member of Gulshan Ladies Community Club and Army Golf Club. She traveled more than 30 countries of 6 continents. Mahmud is the spouse of Shaheen Mahmud, Chairman of Cotton Group and Jamuna Bank Limited.
