Taskin gets injury in practice session

Pacer Taskin Ahmed got injury in his finger of left hand on Monday. Right-arm pacer Ahmed’s finger of left-hand was fractured while he was practising at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday last.
Senior Media Manger Rabeed Imam said to this Reporter, ” Taskin’s finger was sewed two stitches. He is now 72-hour observation. After opening his stitch the physician will declare if Taskin will be available for the upcoming West Indies series.”
Taskin Ahmed returned to the preliminary squad of Bangladesh after showing a spectacular performance in the outgoing BCB President’s Cup and Bangabandhu T20 Cup Cricket. As Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was not included in the squad, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had a plan to make Bangladesh’s pace attack by the combination of Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman.
Taskin Ahmed have a tall figure and he is a speedster. He made his debut when he was only 19-year old. He showed an outstanding performance in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket recently. But he could not play in the New Zealand series as he got injury in his ankle.
Later, He prepared himself during the coronavirus pandemic. He worked hard and geared up himself for the upcoming West Indies series. Now his fate will be decided in a couple of days if he can play in the forthcoming West Indies series.
It may be mentioned that promising Parvez Hossain Emon was ruled out due to injury.
The cricket lovers of the country want to see a worthy performance from speedster Taskin Ahmed. However, if Taskin survives from injury the cricket fans of Bangladesh will watch a spectacular performance from Taskin.
