Both Taskeen Rahman and Puja Cherry Roy-starred few numbers of movies released till now. They have already come into discussion with these numbers. They have also become popular to the viewers. Basically Taskeen got popularity to act in Dipankar Dipon’s Dhaka Attack, while Puja became popular to work in Raihan Rafi’s movie Poramon-2. For the first they are working together in M Rahim’s movie Shan. Today (August 20) is the birthday of both Taskeen and Puja.
Taskeen-starred movies Dhaka Attack, Sultan – The Saviour, Jodi Ekdin and Boyfriend have been released. But only acting in these four films he has already come into limelight.
On the other hand, Puja Cherry first came into discussion to act in role of heroine Mahiya Mahi’s childhood character in Iftekhar Chowdhury’s movie Agnee. As a heroince, her debut was done through Abhimanyu Mukherjee’s movie Nurjahan. But she created hype among the viewers to work in movie Poramon-2.
Taskeen and Puja informed that Puja is acting in role of Ria, while Taskeen is playing the role of Hero Matin in upcoming film Shan. Shooting of the film has already been started. Shooting of next phase will start in November.
While talking about his birthday and acting with Puja in film Shan Taskeen Rahman told this correspondent, “I have come to Bangladesh from Australia for long time for acting in several numbers of good films. From my first acted movie I have been getting huge response and love from my fans and film-lovers so I have decided to do something good for them. I am very much satisfied with my present position, Alhamdulillah. For the first time, I am acting with Puja. She is a good person and also acting well. We have already developed better understanding among us in case of work. We are really passing good times during shooting of the film now.”
Puja Cherry shared her feelings by this way, “In real life, Taskeen Bhai is a good human rather than on the screen. There is childish attitude in him. It is no doubt he is a good actor too. It is interesting that our birthday is on August 20. I am expecting to work in Nader Chowdhury’s a movie soon.”
Taskeen also said that within very short time he will go to London for a week. He will talk about story and his role for a new movie there. He is expecting to work in Kolkata’s Nehal Dutta’s a movie.
