Before Eid-ul-Azha, Tariqul Islam has started to make his first movie titled Manikchand Bangladeshi in old Dhaka. Rashed is acting in the title role in the movie. Producing under the banner of Multina Productions Tariqul has taken three years planning to make this movie.
While talking in this regard he said, “Manikchand Bangladeshi is my dream movie. For this reason, I have taken a long term planning to make this movie. I believe that I can present a nice movie to the viewers.”
Masum Aziz, Golam Mawla, among others, are also acting in other roles in the movie. Tariqul Islam last made a play titled Bewarish Manush to cast Tarin and Azad Abul Kalam.
Gaogeram-er Manushjon, Kagoj-er Phul, Bou Swashuri Therapy, etc are his directed mentionable plays.
After Manikchand Bangladeshi Tariqul will be busy with his second movie, he said.
