In this exhibition, we can see a series abstract painting which depicts the imagination of the artist and also the reasoning which portrays a reflection of his figments of imagination. He makes sure that his paintings have a perfect blend of abstraction as well as the suitable display of colours. We can see all types of colors but Black and grey being seen to be dominating other colors; because the artist feels as he lived in the heart of the city Dhaka where those colors are being related with present surroundings. The motive of this exhibition is to bring out the unconscious minds of people and make them feel what they see and project into the world.
In these series of artworks, Tariq chose the subject matter in the colour and the pattern, the composition and the process. Before he used everyday objects as metaphor. Therefore the content or the meaning of the work depends on the project he aims for. In this series he copied his own thoughts, dreams, experiences and most importantly his logics. By combining his thoughts he brings out a form of art piece that looks different so he called it copy without original (simulacra). He believes art is not just the artist’s reflection as a communicating media but also holds a responsible role in the society. Most artists think deeply about what is going on around them or inside them. Since the language of the artists depicts in the visual form of language so they have the awesome privilege of sharing our visions with other people. The major theme of this exhibition depicts the social situation of present phenomena of social life and salvation from the stagnant time.
