National Film Award winning renowned actor Tariq Anam Khan is also a noted director. Many directors are still saying that as an actor, they could not utilise the acting skill of Tariq Anam Khan properly. Even this noted actor did not get proper evaluation from the critics as an actor. But Tariq Anam is not worried in this regard. He has been acting by own way. For Eid-ul-Fitr, he acted in several numbers of projects. Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz scripted and directed drama Like Father Like Son is one of them. After airing in a private TV channel during Eid festival, this drama will also air on a YouTube channel later. In the drama, Tariq Anam Khan played role of a father while promising model and TV actor Tamim Mridha played role of his son.
While talking about the drama, Tariq Anam Khan said, “Basically Like Father Like Son is a family story based drama. It is an exceptional story. I had earlier experience to work with director Raz. He has intention to do good work. Raz has tried to tell the story of the drama nicely. I really enjoyed acting in the drama. Tamim Mridha tries to do acting well. Overall, it has become a nice work.”
Tamim Mridha shared his feelings by this way, “It was a great luck for me to get scope to work with Tariq Sir in this drama. He is very co-operative artiste. It is positive thing that to work with Tariq Sir I can learn many things regarding acting. I believe he himself is an institution. And his chemistry with Raz Bhai is really outstanding. I got comfort and relax while taking part in shooting under Raz Bhai’s direction. For the first time, I got the opportunity to act in a single episode drama.”
It is noted that Tariq Anam Khan and Tamim Mridha also share the screen together for drama Noya Laila Noya Mojnu directed by Sohag Rana. This drama has been made for Cinemawala for Eid.
