There is a friendly relationship between popular TV actress Tarin and director Shanta Rahman from many years . Though both of them are busy in their working fields, but they didn’t get the opportunity to work together in any TV plays.
One month ago, before going to USA Tarin showed keen interest to perform in the Independence Day’s special play after hearing main theme of the play of Shanta Rahman.
After getting confirmation from Tarin, Shanta Rahman started to write the script of the play titled Anuchchhed 71 by Shahjahan Saurav.
Tarin returned from USA on March 9. Shooting of the play began in a village in Savar from March 12.
While asking the director why the title of the play is Anuchchhed 71 she replied, “In fact, it is a small story before the beginning of the independence war. For this reason, its titled is Anuchchhed 71. Tarin has performed outstandingly well in role of ‘Ayesha’ in the play. I am really impressed with her performance in the play.”
“She has tried her level best to blend with her character in the play. It is very difficult for an actress to go outside Dhaka for performing in any play. But Tarin did it nicely and also performed well,” she said.
While replying to a question how she enjoyed while taking part in shooting of the play Tarin said, “There are some plays which are difficult to finish within two days. Shanta has made the output of the play by virtue of her talent and patience. She utilised our every quality what she demanded from us. We have given our level best in the play while taking part in shooting of the play. Though it was my first work with Shanta but we had better understanding so that a nice work has developed finally. I think viewers will enjoy the play.”
It may be mentioned that after returning from USA by this play Tarin again became busy with acting in media. The play Anuchchhed 71 will go on air on ATN Bangla on March 28. Shahadat, Sabuj, Ripon, among others, also performed in the play besides Tarin.
However, Tarin has already started working in Niaz Mahbub in new drama serial Kalo Mokhmol.
Meanwhile, end of this month Tarin will start to take part in shooting of play titled Bewarish Manush under the direction of Tariqul Islam. Pantho Shahriar has written scripts of these two plays, Tarin said.
