Tarik Morshed has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL).
Tarik started his banking career with BRAC Bank as Programme Officer in March 1987. Later, he joined SIBL as Principal Social Officer from its beginning and performed his duties in different capacities, says a press release on Wednesday.
He was involved with ILO, UNICEF, BRAC, JOBS Project, USAID and different activities related to child labour elimination programme.
Tarik was awarded by the bank management in several times for his outstanding performance. He was awarded as the best manager of the “Industry-based 10 (ten) Best Bank Manager Award” in 2007.
