After a break of two years, popular TV actress Tareen acted in a telefilm under noted actor-director Shahiduzzaman Selim’s direction. Tareen acted in a telefilm titled ‘Shwapod’ based on a foreign adapted story. Recently its shooting has been finished in the city’s Uttara area.
While talking about the telefilm Shahiduzzaman Selim told this correspondent, “Main story of the telefilm is based on empathy. It is only two lines story which I have to make. I have tried my level best to portray the story in different way. I have to think many things while making this telefilm. In fact, in my house, there is a reputed actress. There is link in the story of the telefilm. But I thought Tareen while making this because I believe she could be able to portray her role properly in this telefilm. It will be aired today on Channel i at 3:05pm.”
Tareen shared her feelings by this way, “Selim Bhai is one of my favourite directors. It is necessary that a director like him to come forward. While working under his direction I never keep any other schedule for acting.”
Meanwhile, Tareen has already finished shooting of Shamim Zaman directed play ‘Career’ on the occasion of coming Eid. Mosharraf Karim was her co-actor in that play. Two years ago, under Selim’s direction Tareen acted in a telefilm titled ‘Du Fota Samudro,’ which was aired on Channel i. Three years back, under Selim’s direction Tareen also acted in play ‘Sangrila.’
