In last Eid, popular actress Tareen Jahan got appreciation from the viewers to act in role of Dipanwita in Golam Sohrab Dodul directed web film titled Dark Room. Talented actors like Tareen and among others want to act in good story and role based works. Despite
having keen interest, viewers do not get the opportunity to watch actors like Tareen-starrer dramas due to lack of interest by the
producers, directors and agencies. So, actors like Tareen do not
seen regularly on the screen. After liking the story, Tareen started to act in a commercial movie again. Hridy Haque is making a government-grant movie titled 1971 Seisob Din, which story is based on the Liberation War. Tareen is playing the role of Naila in the movie.
Tareen informed that she took part in first lodge’s shooting of the movie in Thakurgaon. If everything remains satisfactory, Tareen will take part in second lodge’s shooting of the movie at the end of this month. She is acting against Litu Anam in the film.
While talking about acting in the movie Tareen said, “In the
beginning of last year, I for the first time acted in a commercial movie titled Eta Amader Golpo. It was Kolkata’s movie. Kolkata’s noted actress Manasi Sinha gave direction of the film. Story
of the film revolves with tales of two families. When I acted in Bangladesh’s movie it was also directed by a female director and
its story is also based on the Liberation War. Hridy Haque
is a good actress and I like her written story and direction.
Though I did not get the scope to work under her direction in TV drama but along with respected Suborna Apa we worked
together in a drama titled Chirokumar Sobha. Every character of movie 1971 Seisob Din is very much significant. In think story
is the hero of this movie. I believe within this month
I will finish shooting of second lodge of this movie.”
In 1988, Tareen first acted in role of Shiwly in a children
film Kathal Burir Bagan. Later, she also acted in Sajal Khaled’s
movie Kajoler Din Ratri. “Dubbing of my acted Kolkata’s
movie Eta Amader Golpo yet not completed. Sharmistha
Ghosh produced the film,” Tareen also said.
