In the New Year, popular TV actress Tareen Jahan worked in a play titled Mukti. It will be telecast tonight on Bangladesh Television (BTV). Directed by Jewel Sharif, story of the play was written by Pantho Shahriar. Shooting of the play was done in the capital’s Uttara area from January 15 to 17.
Noted actor, director and playwright Azad Abul Kalam acted against Tareen in the play. Intekhab Dinar and Aparna also acted in two important roles in the play besides Tareen and Azad Abul Kalam.
While talking about making the play director Jewel Sharif said, “Basically faction plays are being made within two days’ shooting now. But it needs at least three days to make any play. Otherwise it is really difficult to make any good play. Therefore, when there are many noted actors as directors we have to give direction sincerely. I am very much satisfied to work with them.”
Azad Abul Kalam said, “Jewel has been engaged with making plays for many days. He always wants to make any work timely. He has made the play Mukti timely. Therefore, as my co-actress, Tareen also acted well. There is nothing new to say about her acting. We always enjoy working together.”
Tareen shared her feelings by this way, “After long time I worked with my many days’ colleagues Azad Abul Kalam Bhai and Intekhab Dinar Bhai. I hope viewers will enjoy the play.”
Director Jewel also informed that the play Mukti will be telecast tonight on BTV at 9:00pm.
