Farhana Khan Tanna always feels comfortable to introduce herself as a dance artiste. She even got offer from late film director Ehtesham to act in his movie. She also got offers to work in TV play and TVCs. But except dancing nothing attracted her. For this reason, she has been attached with only dancing.
Mother of Tanna, Selina Haque is a noted dance artiste and director. Her maternal uncle Amir Hossain Babu was country’s one of the legendary dance artistes and directors. When Tanna was only five years old she started dancing. She got primary training from her mother. But late Rahiza Khanam Jhunu was her mentor. During childhood she first performed on BTV. She mostly solo performed in that channel in programme Nrittyer Taley Taley. Uttoron-er Deshey is her mentionable dance drama production. Therefore, she also performed in several other dance dramas.
Tanna’s husband Agun is country’s one of the popular singers. She has two sons – Moshal and Michhil.
