Single episode play has returned to our TV play arena again. Every TV channel telecasts one special play in each month. Banglavision is among them. Tomorrow this channel will telecast a special play titled Ekti Sukhobor, directed by Sagor Jahan, at 9:05pm.
Apurno Rubel wrote story of the play. Director Sagor Jahan told this correspondent over mobile phone from Kolkata yesterday that shooting of the play was done in Tongi area in the beginning of this month.
While talking about making the play director Sagor Jahan said, “It is really a delightful matter for the play directors that every satellite channel telecasts single episode special play every month. As a result, directors are concentrating to make single episode plays now. By this way newcomer playwrights will be come out under this process. Apurno Rubel is such a newcomer playwright and I have made Ekti Sukhobor under his written story. Tanjin Tisha earlier acted under my written script. This time she acted under my direction in this play. She is a dedicated actress. She could understand well what the director wanted during the shooting of the play. Apurba as usual acted well.”
Apurba shared his feelings by this way, “We always try to show our keen interest to work in exceptional story based plays. Ekti Sukhobor is such a story based play. I am optimistic about the play.”
Tanjin Tisha said, “It is a nice story based drama. Under Sagor Jahan Bhai’s direction, I acted in a different story based work. I believe viewers will enjoy the drama.”
