Tanjila Tanin, a fourth year student of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism emerged champion while Laboni Begum, a third year student of the Department of Leather Products and Engineering became runner-up in the Annual Sports Competition of Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall of Dhaka University (DU). The Annual Sports Competition was held on Thursday at the central playground of DU.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the competition in the morning as the chief guest.
Later, Treasurer of DU Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin distributed the prizes among the winners. Provost of the Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall Professor Dr Sabita Rezwana Rahman was present at the time.
