A movie will be made on the life of Taramon Bibi, who was one of the two female freedom-fighters in Bangladesh achieving the Bir Protik title. She was involved in the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 as direct combat, as a member of the guerrilla forces Mukti Bahini. Her role will be portrayed by promising actress Tanha Tasnia in the silver screen.
Tanha Tasnia said, “To understand Taramon Bibi’s personality, I have been trying to collect all the resources that are available, and researching a while on the articles and books written on her.” Tanha also said that the shooting of the movie will begin in December.
