Basically Tanha Tasnia is a film actress. When she likes any story, she agrees to work in TV dramas sometimes. She worked with popular heroes like Zahid Hasan, Shajal, Apurba, among others in TV dramas. But she did not get the scope to pair up with Irfan Sajjad. For the first time, Tanha paired up with Irfan Sajjad in a single episode drama titled ICU. Kajol Arefin Ome gave direction of the drama which will be telecasted in TV and YouTube channel soon.
During lockdown due to Corona pandemic, Tanha did not work in media. Through ICU she has returned to work. Tanha informed that in November and December, she will be engaged with shooting of several numbers of TV dramas under noted directors’ direction. Popular faces of the small screen will be seen against her in these dramas.
While talking about acting in drama ICU Tanha said, “During Corona pandemic, I have returned to acting through the drama ICU. Kajol Arefin Ome scripted and also gave direction of the play. Story of the drama seemed to be something exceptional to me. For this reason, I agreed to work. Therefore, in the drama besides Irfan Sajjad, Mithu Apa, Mukit Bhai, Sarika Sabah also acted in other roles. We tried our level best to present the story in the drama properly. In fact, story and my role inspired me to act in the drama. I believe viewers will enjoy the drama.”
Irfan Sajjad said, “It was my first work with Tanha. Tanha has intention to work nicely. Therefore, she is very much co-operative during shooting. Viewers like to watch Ome directed dramas. I think ICU will increase liking of his direction. I give thanks to everybody of this play who tried their level best to make a nice drama at all.”
Tanha Tasnia also said that in the beginning of next year she will start shooting of a new movie. She last acted against Apurba in Sohel Arman directed drama Mitthe Prem. Tanha is still getting response from the viewers for this drama. For this reason, an interest to work in drama is being developed in her mind now, the actress also said.
