Tangail and Thakurgaon district teams settled their final seats in tthe JFA Under-14 National Women’s Football Championship after beating their rivals in the semifinals at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamlapur on Sunday.
The finalists will take each other on at 3:30pm the same venue on Tuesday.
In the semifinals: Tangail crushed Rangpur by5-0 goals in the semifinal where Rehana found the net twice in the 26th and 50th minutes. Unnoti Khatun, Ratna and Afaija fired the net in the 17th, 47th and 61st minutes respectively.
Thakurgaon defeated Khulna district by 3-0 goals with Israt Jahan firing the net first in the 23rd minute before Kolpona got the net twice in the 61st and 68th minutes.
