Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the captain of the defending champions of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), said Tamim Iqbal’s wicket in Tuesday’s clash against Comilla Victorians was most important to him.
“All the four wickets that I took in the match were important. But, Tamim’s one most important to me because of his good record against my bowling. Regardless of the formats, he did well against me in the past. So scalping his wicket is really important for me,” Mashrafe said in the post-match press meet on Tuesday.
Rangpur Riders beat Comilla Victorians on Tuesday by a big margin of nine wickets which is the second win of the Riders out of three matches they have played.
Comilla batted first in the match after losing the toss and tumbled for 63 runs only which is their lowest total and the overall fourth-lowest total in the history of BPL. Riders won the match in an easy manner with nine wickets in hand.
