Tamim Iqbal has withdrawn from the Bangladesh squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. In a video message on his Facebook on Wednesday, one of the best openers in the country said why he doesn’t want to be part of the World Cup squad. He told Chief Selector Minhajul Abedin and the BCB President Nazmul Hasan about his inability, as they have accepted Tamim’s arguments.
The former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza reacted to Tamim’s announcement on his personal Facebook page. According to one of the best cricket stars in the country, “It’s totally Tamim’s own decision and everyone should respect that decision.”
