Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal will return to the field soon. He will take part in the fifth round of the National Cricket League (NCL). The fifth round of the NCL will start from mid of the November.
After taking part in the NCL, Tamim Iqbal will take part in the upcoming Pakistan series. But, Tamim Iqbal will take part in the Pakistan Test series. The coaching camp of Bangladesh Cricket team will begin on November 12. In that time Tamim will take part in the fifth round of the NCL. So, Tamim Iqbal will miss the T20I series against Pakistan.
Pakistan Cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on November 15 after completing their ICC T20 World Cup campaign. Bangladesh will play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches and two Test matches against Pakistan. Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in the first T20I match at the Sher-e-Banla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on November 19, Bangladesh will face Pakistan in the second T20I at the same venue on November 20, Bangladesh will meet Pakistan in the third T20I at the same venue on November 22. After playing the T20I series, Bangladesh team and Pakistan team will arrive in Chattogram. Bangladesh will face Pakistan in the first Test at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram from November 26 to November 30.
After finishing the first Test, players of the both teams will return to Dhaka. Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in the second Test at the SBNCS from December 4 to December 8.
Tamim Iqbal could not take part in the Australia T20I series at home due to injury. The injured left-arm opener also missed New Zealand T20I series at home. Bangladesh defeated Australia by 4-1 and beat New Zealand by 3-2. Tamim Iqbal ruled himself out from the Bangladesh squad for the ICC T20 World Cup. Later, he went to Nepal to take part in the matches of Everest Premier League (EPL). But there he got injury on his finger. So, Tamim have to out of cricket for some day’s.
Tamim Iqbal discussed the medical team of BCB on Sunday last. The physicians advised him to bat against the spinners in the net from November 7. after some days, he will take part in the full-fledged practice session.
Tamim Iqbal said to a local website, ” I talked to the physicians on Sunday. They advised me to bat against the spinners in the net. I am now thinking to return to field as soon as possible. I am now thinking to take part in the fifth round of the NCL. I spent three weeks for rehabilitation. Before taking part in the practice, I shall spend one week.”
