Tamim seeks relieve from Vice-Captaincy

Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal submitted a letter to Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday. In that letter, he sought relieve from Vice-Captaincy of Bangladesh National Cricket team.
Tamim told the newsmen that he wanted to quit from the post of Vice-Captain to give more attention in his batting.
It is mentionable that Tamim Iqbal was removed for six runs in the first innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka and was dismissed for 11 runs in the second innings of the first Test against the islanders.
Later, Tamim Iqbal was dismissed for a duck in the first innings of the second Test against the touring Sri Lanka and scored 31 in the second innings of the second Test against the visitors.
