They got attractive proposals from the franchisees of CPL to play in the League.
Tamim Iqbal said to the newsmen, ” I rejected the proposal for two reasons. I had an agreement with a club, which will participate in the ensuing Dhaka Premier League (DPL). If the DPL starts, I have to play in that club. The other reason is my family. The players, who will take part in CPL, will travel by chartered flight of aeroplane. So, I had no easy access to return home. I cannot return home for my family if necessary.”
