Tamim Iqbal picks his all-time World Cup XI

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has picked his all-time World Cup XI ahead of the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019. He reveled his team on the request of the popular cricket website Espncricinfo.
To start with, only Shakib Al Hasan had made his XI from Bangladesh. Shakib played three World Cups in 2007, 2011, 2015 and heading towards another World Cup which is going to start on May 30. He scored 540 runs in 21 innings in the three World Cup that he played. Whereas he picked up 23 wickets also. Tamim picked Jacques Kallis alongside Shakib for the all-rounder quota.
He also picked 4 Indian players in his all-time XI. Wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni will be the captain of his team MS Dhoni is perhaps the greatest finishers the game has ever seen and has also led India to a World Cup triumph back in 2011. The seasoned campaigner will once again be an integral member of the Indian side at this year’s World Cup. Except this, he also picked Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli where Sachin and Sehwag will open the innings for his team. He also picked the Australian legend Ricky Ponting for the no.4 spot of his team.
Pakistan’s legendary pacer duo- Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar also named in the all-time XI of the Bangladeshi opener. Alongside them, the other two bowlers are- Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and Australian pacer Glenn Mcgrath. Muttiah Muralitharan, the Sri Lankan legend, is the lone spinner in Tamim’s side. Above all, among eleven players nine are from the Asia.
