Any team of Indian Premier League (IPL) did not recruit dashing opener Tamim Iqbal. The auction of IPL was held on Saturday last but no team was interested to draft Tamim.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have recruited ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan for Rupees two crore, while Mumbai Indians have bought ‘Cutter Boy’ Mustafizur Rahman for Rupees two crore and twenty lakh.
A total of six players of Bangladesh took part in the auction of the 11th edition of IPL. They are: Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah Riyad, Sabbir Rahman and Abul Hasan Raju. Of them, Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman have been recruited by the teams of IPL.
