Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal got injury in his finger of his left hand when he was batting practice in the net of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.
Physiotherapist of BCB Bayezid Islam Khan confirmed this matter.
After getting injury, the X-Ray was done in his finger of his left hand. In the X-Ray report, it was found that his finger is fractured. So, Tamim Iqbal has to out of field at least three weeks.
England National Cricket team will arrive in the city on September 30 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches and two Test matches against their counterpart Bangladesh National Cricket team.
Tamim Iqbal cannot take part in the BCB’s skill camp. But he can continue his fitness training.
Physiotherapist of BCB Bayezid Islam Khan said, ” It will take maximum four weeks to heal from his injury. So, Tamim Iqbal can play in the upcoming England series.”
