Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal hit his 11th One Day International (ODI) century on Sunday. Tamim notched up 103 against West Indies in the third ODI at the Saint Kits in the West Indies. Tamim Iqbal’s ton guided Bangladesh to win the ODI series 2-1. Bangladesh beat West Indies by 18 runs in the third and last ODI.
His 124-ball innings was studded with seven fours and two sixes.
He scored 6305 runs playing 182 ODI matches.
Tamim made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Harare in Zimbabwe on February 9, 2007.
The left-handed opener is now the highest scorer of Bangladesh in ODI cricket.
Tamim Iqbal showed a consistent performance in this series against West Indies.
He remained unbeaten with 130 in the 1st ODI against West Indies at Providence Park in West Indies on July 22.
He scored a polished 54 in the 2nd ODI against the Caribbeans at the same venue on July 25.
Tamim Iqbal scored altogether 287 runs in the three-match ODI series against West Indies.
