Staff Reporter: Opener Tamim Iqbal got 50 runs after two of his co-fighter run-out in the second ODI against Zimbabwe in Sylhet on Tuesday.
Tamim bagged the quick 50 from 42 balls as Bangladesh was 66 for the loss of two wickets in 11 overs.
The left-hander snapped a run of seven ODIs without a half-century with a fluent knock, smashing 10 boundaries. However, Bangladesh lost two batsmen to run-outs as their progress was stalled a bit.
Liton Das was unfortunately dismissed on nine when bowler Carl Bowler deflected a straight drive from Tamim on to the stumps, with Liton failing to reach the crease. Najmul Hossain Shanto departed for six following a big mix-up with Tamim over a single.  Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza once again won the toss and decided to bat in the second ODI against Zimbabwe on Tuesday.
