UNB, Dhaka :
BNP senior leader Moudud Ahmed on Monday said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina must enter into a negotiation with their party over the next polls if she wants to have a ‘graceful exit’ from power.
“Two paths-one with honour and the other with dishonour-remain open for the Prime Minister to quit power. She has to choose one path,” he said.
Speaking at a discussion, the BNP leader further said, “If she (Hasina) wants

to leave power with dignity, she must come to an understating and hold a fair and neutral election… if she doesn’t reach an understating, the solution will come through a movement.”
Moudud, a BNP standing committee member, said if the government does not take step for fair polls, BNP will not be responsible if anything bad happens as people will take to the street to restore their voting rights, democracy, the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary.
He also said their party will be forced to announce agitation programmes if the government fails to reach an understanding at the right time
Greater Noakhali Jatiyatabadi Jubo Forum arranged the programme at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) demanding the release of Dhaka south city unit Jubo Dal President Rafiqul Alam Mojnu from jail.
