Now anchoring has become one of the most likable professions among the young generation females. Having keen interest and love after completing higher education, many females take anchoring as their profession. They are winning hearts of many viewers by virtue of presenting their talents and skills. Among them, four anchors — Srabonno Towhida, Mousumi Mou, Labonno and Neel Hurerzahan are mentionable now. Srabonno Towhida was the former student of Dhaka Medical College, Mousumi Mou was from University of Dhaka, Labonno was the former student of BUET and Neel Hurerzahan was the former student of United International University.
In 2013, Srabonno started anchoring the show Lifestyle 24 on Channel 24, in 2014, Labonno first worked as an anchor for the show Silver Screen on Asian TV, in 2015, Neel Hurerzahan started anchoring Bangavision’s show Din Protidin, and in 2016, Mousumi debuted her career as an anchor at the National Debate Competition on BTV. All of them debuted their cooperate shows in Dhaka. Except Labonno, all are also engaged with acting. Srabonno’s birthday is October 17, Labonno’s is on October 18, Mousumi Mou’s on November 12 and Neel’s birthday is on April 9. Labonno’s favourite anchor is Anjam Masud, while Munmun is favourite to rest of them. Srabonno Towhida is
a doctor (medicine specialist) of 38th BCS batch. While talking about own anchoring she said, “When I started anchoring with cricket I had to
listen many things. But I did not stop. The persons who once criticised me now they appreciate me. As an anchor, it is my achievement.”
Labonno said, “I am satisfied with my work.
But I have big dream with anchoring. Inshallah, I will fulfill my dream.” Neel Hurerzahan shared her feelings by this way, “I am satisfied in anchoring what I wanted earlier in this field. But it is true that I am going forward in this regard.” Mousumi Mou is also optimistic about her career.
