State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Md Moshiur Rahman Ranga on Thursday said the government is taking initiatives to allocate Taka 300 crore as revolving loan to develop the living standard of around 1.50 crore farmers.
“There is a plan to allocate Taka 300 crore as revolving loan for developing the living standard of farmers and to accelerate rural development programmes,” he said, addressing the 27th annual meeting of Bangladesh Cooperative Insurance at a city hotel, said a press release.
Md Nazrul Islam Babu, MP, Milk Vita Chairman Sheikh Nadir Hossain Lipu, Bangladesh Cooperative Insurance Vice-Chairman Md Nurul Alam, Managing Director Md Nure Alam Siddique and Secretary Md Latifur Rahman, among others, addressed the function with Bangladesh Cooperative Insurance Chairman Muhammad Abul Kashem in the chair.
