A 30-member team of Tajikistan National Football reached here on Sunday to play their away match of the FIFA World Cup 2018 and AFC Asia Cup 2019 Qualifiers against hosts Bangladesh.
A flight of an Emirates flight carrying the Tajikistan team landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 6pm.
Bangladesh will play their 2nd home match against Tajikistan at Bangabandhu National Stadium at 5pm on Tuesday (June 16).
Earlier, on Thursday, Bangladesh suffered a frustrating 1-3 goals defeat to lowly-ranked Kyrgyzstan in their first qualification home match last at the same venue.
