National cricketer Taijul Islam’s 25th birthday was observed at Hyderabad in India on Tuesday. His teammates celebrated his birthday, said a BCB source. Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam was born in Natore on February 7 in 1992. Taijul Islam basically a bowler.
Taijul’s Test debut was against West Indies on September 5 in 2014. He grabbed five wickets in his debut Test. Taijul captured eight wickets for 39 runs against Zimbabwe. It is the best bowling figure for any bowler of Bangladesh. He hit hat-trick against Zimbabwe in his debut ODI.
He scored 166 runs playing 11 Test matches with an 11.85 average. His highest Test score is 32.
Taijul scored 21 runs playing only four ODI matches.
The left-arm spinner bagged 43 wickets playing 11 Test matches.
