Tahmina Othoi, a student of Chittagong University has been crowned the winner of ‘World Miss University Bangladesh’ at a gala event presented by Diamond World in the city recently. She will represent Bangladesh in the World Miss University-2017 in Cambodia on 19 December. First runner-up Tahsin Wazed Esha is a student of North-South University and the second runner up Fatema Yasmin Lia is a student of BGMEA University. Prime Minister’s media advisor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury was present at the grand finale as the Chief Guest.
