Popular face of the small screen noted actress Tahmina Sultana Mou for the first time acted with her only daughter Maha in a TV drama titled Balighor. As Mou started her acting career through BTV, so she wanted her daughter Maha also debuts her acting career through this state-run channel. Mou’s dream came into true. Maha acted with her for BTV’s drama Balighor was scripted by Matia Banu Shuku. In the drama, Mou played role of Maha’s mother. Mou informed that Balighor will be aired tonight
on BTV at 9:00pm as weekly drama.
While sharing her feelings to work with her daughter for first time, Mou said, “I am an enlisted dance artiste and actress of Bangladesh Television (BTV). I had dreamt my only daughter Maha can debut her acting career through BTV’s drama. My dream comes true.
In Balighor, I played role of Maha’s mother. It is really a delightful matter for me. I am cordially grateful to producer of the drama.
I request all to watch this drama tonight on BTV.”
Mou also said that Maha is now studying Grade-I at Aga Khan School in the capital’s Uttara area. On May 22, Mou will take part in shooting of Kaiser Ahmed directed Maasranga TV’s ongoing serial Bokulpur Returns in Manikganj. Therefore, she is regularly acting in Kaiser-Hazen’s serial Golmal, Sanjit Sarkar’s serial Cheater & Gentleman, and Himu Akram directed serial Shanti Molom 10 Taka. Mou has keen interest to work in movie. In this case, story and character must be good, according to the actress. If she likes these, then she agrees to work. In this case, her elder sister noted film actress Shabnaz always gives her inspiration
as Mou acts in a movie at least.
