Tahmina Sultana Mou is the younger sister of film Chandni famed actress Shabnaz. On November 26 in 1993, Shabnaz acted in Shibli Sadik directed movie Anutopto. This time Shabnaz’s sister Mou is going to act in a special drama titled Anutopto, which will be made on the occasion of 50 years of independence of Bangladesh.
To be produced by Bangladesh Television, Tahmina Sultana Mou will play an important role in the drama. Litu Sakhawat wrote story
of the drama, which will be made to telecast on BTV on the Victory Day, December 16.
While talking about story of the drama Tahmina Mou said, “I have liked story of the drama. Story of the drama is like this: a freedom-fighter’s grandson tied the nuptial knot with granddaughter of a collaborator. After wedding, when this true is disclosed their marriage breaks down. In fact, I have also liked script of the drama. I hope viewers will enjoy the drama. Another likeable matter is that my elder sister earlier acted in a movie with the same title 28 years ago.”
Mou also said that after staying abroad for last five months, she has now become engaged with acting again. She has already started shooting of Syed Shakil’s new drama serial Boka Poribar. Dr Ezazul Islam is acting against Mou in this serial. The actress is also acting against AKhM Hasan in Kaiser Ahmed’s serial Bokulpur Returns. Mou is also acting in Al Hazen directed Asian TV’s ongoing serial Prem Chokkor. Basically she is overall busy with acting now at all, according to the actress.
