Dhaka Residential Model College emerged men’s junior champions in the Walton National School/College Taekwondo competition that concluded at the National Sports Council gymnasium on Thursday.
Dhaka Udoyon School & College and Rani Bilash Girls High School of Gazipur became joint champions in the women’s junior group of the meet.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder was the chief guest at the day’s closing function and later he distributed the prizes.
Secretary of the National Sports Council Ashok Kumar Biswas, Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation president Kazi Morshed Hossain Kamal and general secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana were also present on the occasion.
