Synchronize cultivation of hybrid varieties of Boro Paddy was inaugurated at Shibalaya in Manikganj. Manikganj DC Muhammad Abdul Latif inaugurated the programme as the Chief Guest at Ramgar ground on Tuesday.
Shibalaya Upazila UNO Md. Zahidur Rahman presided over the inaugural function of contemporary cultivation of hybrid varieties of Boro Paddy by setting up a block exhibition under the incentive programme in the Robi season of 2021-22 financial years.
At the beginning of the programme Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Sajjad Hossain recited from the Holy Quran and Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Anupam Kumar Moulik recited from the Holy Gita.
Shibalaya Upazila Agriculture Officer agriculturist Riazur Rahman spoke on the occasion. Manikganj Agriculture Extension Department Farm House Deputy Director Abu Md. Enayet Ullah, Shibalaya Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahbubul Islam, Shibalaya Upazila Vice Chairman AKM Miraj Hossain Lalon Fakir, Ramnagar instigated Paste Management-IPM Agriculture Development Club President Abdul Gafur among others spoke.
