A young man named Shahin Ahmed (25) has committed suicide in Dighirpar East Union of KanaighatUpazila of Sylhet.
Locals found Shaheen’s body hanging from a tree in the middle of the haor on Thursday.
Ali Hossain Kajal, chairman of Dighirpar East Union, confirmed the news.
Locals said Shaheen, was a CNG driver by profession. He is the son of Kamal Uddin of Chhatranagar village in Dighirpar East Union. However, it is not yet known why Shaheen committed suicide.
Kanaighat Police Station OC (Investigation) Zahidul Haque said, “I got the news and left for the spot.”
