The tier-two four-day match between Sylhet Division and Rajshahi Division of 19th Walton Smart Fridge National Cricket League (NCL) ended in a draw at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra on Monday.
Trailing by 149 runs in the first innings, Sylhet Division started their second innings on the fourth and final day and scored 151 for 2 courtesy of skipper Imtiaz Hossain’s brilliant 108-run knock at stumps.
Saqlain Sajib and Farhad Reza of Rajshahi shared one wicket each.
Earlier on the day, Rajshahi Division resumed their first innings with overnight score at 279 for 3 and finally declared their first innings at 370 for 7 taking a healthy 149 runs lead after they dismissed Sylhet Division in their first innings at 221.
Abu Jayed of Sylhet finished with an impressive figure of 4-80 while Imran Ali Enam supported him with 3-101.
Mizanur Rahman of Rajshahi Division was named the player of the match.
