Sylhet getting back its usual look after Eid

The Sylhet started getting back to life from Sunday as a large number of people have already returned to the city after celebrating Eid festival at their village homes with their near and dear ones.
Tens of thousands of people returned to Sylhet for the sake of their livelihood after enjoying Eid-ul-Fitr vacation at their village homes.
Three inter-district bus terminals of the Sylhet Kodomtoly Railway station witnessed huge crowds on Sunday.
The government offices in the Sylhet got back their usual look on the day with the presence of officials who joined duties after Eid holidays.
People are returning to the capital riding the roofs and floors of buses, trains and launches. But, most of the people returned to the city leaving their families in villages fearing heavy crowd in transports.
Sylhet Railway station manager said this type of pressure of passengers will continue till next several days.
Classes resumed at most of the schools and colleges in the Sylhet on Sunday. Many markets and shopping malls were seen open on the day.
Besides, commuters experienced traffic congestion on many roads and thoroughfares as a large number of motor vehicles hit the Sylhet city streets on Sunday after Eid holidays.
