Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) arrested an accused from Cumilla in a case over the killing of a woman and her son from a house in Mirabazar area in the city on April 1.
The arrestee was identified as Tania, a domestic help of the victims’ house.

A team of PBI conducted a drive in Titash area of
Cumilla early in the morning and arrested Tania, said Rezaul Karim Mallik Reza, special police superintendent of Sylhet PBI.
On April 1, police recovered the bodies Rokeya Begum, 40, and her SSC examinee son Rabiul Islam Rokon, 15 from their rented house in Mirabazar area.
Later, a case was filed against 4-5 unidentified people with Kotwali Model Police Station.
