Sylhet Division suffered batting debacle as they scored 112 for 7 in 56.2 overs against host Rajshahi Division on the first day of four-day National Cricket League (NCL) held on Friday at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi.
The match was delayed due to wet outfield and started 12.15 pm and revised minimum 74 overs for the day to play.
However, the match officials finally called off the play at 4.20 pm due to unplayable condition of the ground due to rain.
Imtiaz Hossain top scored with 38 as wickets failed in regular intervals in the face of tight bowling display by the Rajshahi Division bowlers after Rajshahi Division put Sylhet Division to bat first.
