Sylhet Division suffered batting jolt as they scored 95 for 6 at stumps against Rajshahi Division on the second day of in tier 2 four-day 19th Walton Smart Fridge National Cricket League held on Saturday at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
Opener Sayem Islam top scored with 47 runs as Sylhet lost wickets in regular intervals in the face of tight bowling display by Rajshahi Division bowlers. At one stage Sylhet lost their five top batsmen at 87 runs in the scoreboard.
National discard Rajin Saleh with 5 and Abul Hasan with 0 at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Delwar Hossain and Farhad Reza bagged two wickets each conceding 25 and 39 runs.
Earlier, wet outfield almost consumed the second day’s play due to wet outfield after the first day’s play called off.
