Swimmer Mahfuza Khatun Shila, who won two gold medals for Bangladesh in the 12th South Asian Games, will tie the knot on Friday (March 18).
Shila will marry national swimmer Shahjahan Ali Rony, a Bangladesh Army member and son of late Afsar Ali of Rehaichar village in Chapainawabganj district.
The marriage ceremony will be held at Shila’s village home at Panchkobor in Abhaynagar upazila, said her cousin Rabiul Islam.
Shila won two gold medals for Bangladesh in the 12th South Asian Games that concluded in India recently.
